Challenge Event "What Knots" and Keepsakes Archived Message

Last year we embarked on a new program for the Challenge Event intended to offer a special item or two designed as keepsakes and/or gun room/office display items for Challenge attendees. Last year's item was a commemorative coin that featured the LCSCA logo on one side and the PGCA logo on the other. One of those coins became the Challenge Event toss coin; and the other 60 were sold to members from both organizations (and they got gone in a hurry!). We will do our commemorative coin program again for 2015; but have changed it up so that this coin will not be identical to the 2014 coin. This year we will limit these coins to 50 total, as our intent is that these items be considered special. We will also be offering a limited run of "LC Smith" 12 gauge shot shells loaded for us by RST. Each individual red shell will be stamped "LC Smith Collectors"; and each shell box will feature a vintage look label covering the front, top, and back. The label itself will be in the style and bold colors of the two-piece shell boxes from the 1920's; and we have designated these shells as our "Winner's Circle" load, as that is where the LCSCA intends to be when all the Challenge Event smoke has wafted away! And finally, with a little luck we may actually have a handful of cocking tools for sale. All these items are the coolest stuff, and all proceeds will be used to help cover the costs of the Challenge Event. I'll honestly be surprised if these items survive long before finding a new home; so be sure to come by our table early if you have the slightest bit of curiosity. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
