David ...congratulations on putting together another interesting and informative Edition of our Journal. I really look forward to every one of them.
Mr. Haaland's article about his hammer LC Smith was very unusual and interesting. Seldom do I think about our LC Smiths having a history as far away as Norway, but we certainly have one here.
We, as Americans, can be thankful that we still have our gun rights. The writer's great-great grandfather, Josef Omdal, was threatened by the Nazi occupiers with imprisonment for keeping his Smith hidden from confiscation. Also, I enjoyed reading about the gun itself, and the wonderful story that came along with it.
David. Thank you again for your hard work to bring together all these memorable stories to our attention. Also, thank you to the many authors that contributes to our Journal.
