My field grade 12ga. double is a 1947 manufactured gun. My loads are #8 and #6 @ 5,900 psi and 1150 vel. using IMR-PB. I`m looking for a OO Buck load and was wondering if I should even go there or if anyone has some data. I`m also wondering if I can just use my same load data and just replace the shot with OO and stick with my 1-oz. load. I realize some field testing is in order before I hunt with it but I`d like to have something along with me that`ll take a deer or hog down if one came along.
