    Richard, it is from around 1882. On the lock should have WH Baker Pat'd or WH Baker & Co.
    The top of the barrel should have L.C. Smith Maker of Baker Guns Syracuse, N.Y.
    Very unique mechanism for opening the gun, there is a plunger inside that pushing the front trigger forward caused the plunger to release the barrels.


    It is a Quality A and came with a straight stock and for $5.00 more you could get a pistol grip.
    Trying to find a good stock for this is like trying to find the preverbal needle in a hay stack, but keep your eye on eBay as sometimes someone will part one out.

    These guns are getting harder and harder to find, and finding one in decent condition or better is not common.
