    Tom, there has been a lot of interest in shooting these old hammer guns in the last few years. They are fun to shoot.
    I can make you a firing pin and you can contact me through the envelope after my posted name.

    Your hammer gun might have Royal Steel barrels at this time, they were the cheapest set of barrels offered because they were fluid steel and not Damascus or Stub Twist as these were harder to make.
    As to value in the percentage range you quoted, $400-$600 and is hard to judge without seeing pictures.

    The first thing I would do is have someone that knows these old guns examine it and have the barrels wall thickness measured for safe shooting of low pressure loads.
