Thanks for the info, David. The wood on both the Field and Grade 2 would be right on the range you mentioned for uncut stocks. If anyone knows a Canadian supplier for the ivory bead I'd appreciate it. Midway won't ship to Canada. I'll have to look at the rest of my SxSs and see if I need more butt plates. The $15 for the Gun Grip L.C. plate is very fair, but $15 dollars shipping doubles the price.
