I will take some good photos of the gun over Christmas and post them. The fit, quality, and workmanship are believable for the gun... The condition of both very nice. Being a transitional year from Hunter to Marlin I am sure a few strange thing could have occurred... Unfortunately the owner of the gun for the last 60+ years is not around to ask if something was changed.
