If you want your HOT to work like it should send it off to Jerry Andrews in Moundsville West VA. Jerry is probably the best there is when it comes to Hunter one triggers. Jerry will most likely repair the problem in 1 day and have it back in the mail the next. He's repaired several for me and other LCSCA members with great results. I have this circa 1925 LC Smith field grade 12 gauge. The stock was chipped, cracked and in about three or more pieces. I thought it was a loss and could only be a wall hanger. I found a guy through the forum, Jerry Andrews in Moundsville W. V. He said unless it was run over by a bulldozer he may be able to fix it. I sent it to him and in just a couple of weeks I got it back and it looks just great, I am anxious to go out and shoot some light loads as it has probably been 50 years since it last had shot put through it.
