Were LC Smiths exported to Korea in the 1950's to US exchanges for troops to buy? Tuesday I got my uncles Ideal grade and the story is he bought it new on base in Korea during his tour because the duck hunting was so good. What would a factory letter say if such a story is true? Would it reference the us army as the buyer or Korea, or my uncle? I don't get a impression he ordered it. The gun has a HOT trigger, ejectors, English stock, semi-beaver forearm, 30" barrels and sits in 90-95% original condition. He only used it in Korea, when he returned home it sat in his gun cabnet until he died last year. I plan on shooting it soon
