1905, 12 gauge; Armor Steel barrels... I recently posted a problem I had with shells sticking in my 20 gauge inserts. Now I am curious about what the pressure might be when using inserts and shooting 20 gauge in a 12 gauge. My 20 gauge shells were Federal, 2 1/2 Dram eq., 7/8 oz shot with listed muzzle velocity of 1200. Given that the 12 gauge barrel is larger, doesn't that larger barrel somewhat reduce the pressure that might be found if this shell was shot in a 20 gauge?
