I just purchased a 16 ga LW Field ser.# FW8225. I believe the gun was mfg. in 1919 it appears to have the original stock & forearm in very good cond. By gun has the push button fore arm release that I think was last used in 1919. Also the gun has a 3 position safety. Were the bores .650 in these years? Also can I still buy a period correct recoil pad that can be ground to fit? I only need a 1/2 inch pad.
