This was my first SxS event. Had a good time. The wife shopped, I shot.
Having the vendors there was great. Having so many SxS's in one place helped me to see whats all out there for the "next one".
I shot Trap. My double Specialty Trap was on the birds pretty good.
Wish I would have done more 5 stand/ Sporting Clays shooting, but my H.O.T. would have meant a lost bird on most every 2nd shot.... gotta do something about that.
Thanks to James Fincannon as he educated me a bit on the event and guns. I know a little more of what to look for from his help.
One gentleman I met that shot both Trap and 5 Stand and was amazing. I just recall his first name, "J W". He shot a impressive 49/50 in trap, and a 28/30 on 5 stand. If I ever get that good, I hope I am still sustaining it as well as him when I am 78. He was an amazing shot. I believe it was his first Southern SxS also.
    Thanks to the organizers.
Hopefully I can make more in the future.
