John, the hardest part is in the set-up and in taking careful measurements. I did use the old ejector barrel as a model in the set-up and then replaced it with the non-ejector barrel in the jig/s to drill it. Both barrels were very close in diameter in the area that had to be drilled. This was especially true in drilling for the extractor activator. If one was larger in diameter than the hole would have been in a different height location and the retaining pin would not have lined up. Luckily I was able to use the ejector retaining pin in the new barrel. I would not feel comfortable doing it on someone's gun and especially doing it on a drill press as it is not the most precise way to do it. I would have loved to have seen the jigs that Hunter Arms used to do there's, especially with the different diameters.
