I'm looking at a Smith that is advertised as an 00 grade. Close up photos show the barrel, receiver, and sidelocks all marked with the serial number 96189, which means a manufacture date of 1927. However, on both the receiver and the barrels there is 00 marked below the serial number. Is this an 00 grade? I can't find anything that indicates the 00's ever had a serial number in this range. Thanks.
