I have a 20ga. Field Grade double barrel shotgun manufactured by Hunter Arms in 1930. It has 3 inch chambers, and I took the piece to a gunsmith who concurred with the chamber measurement, but no where on the gun is any chamber length indicated. My question has the chamber length been extended, or is it possible that it was manufactured with 3 inch chambers?
