I have used a Pachmayr Decelerator Sporting Clays pad on my 16 ga. Field for 10 years. I had to add a 1/4" spacer to get the length of pull I wanted. I did not modify the pitch, or cut the stock ,and I can replace the original hard butt plate if need be. This is my favorite dove gun (after opening the chokes to IC/Mod), and I shoot it pretty often at Sporting Clays.
