    Membership Renewals & New Member Processing Archived Message

    All,

    I know some of you have been waiting quite a while to have your membership processed or your check deposited. I have completed processing all that I have received as of today's mail delivery. I was sidelined for a bit with back to back surgeries. I can assure you that none of the applications or renewals that were delayed caused a member to miss a Journal edition.

    Also, a quick note about how your membership renewals and new member applications are processed. First, all of the members of the Board of Directors and the Chairmen of different areas volunteer their time to make this organization run. We are not compensated for our time. Second, I do not process an application the day I receive it. I wait until I have a small stack and do them all at once, which is usually every two weeks.

    As always, if you have a question regarding the status of your membership, i.e. when does it expire, have I received your payment, or when will I get my first Journal, feel free to send me an email. My email address is listed under the "Contact" page on our website. Scroll to the bottom and you'll find it.
