SIRS a short time ago I purchased a LC Smith specialty grade shotgun.i think based on the serial number it was manufactured prior to 1914. It is a side by side with 2 triggers. It has very nice engraving and checkering. It seems like a very nice shotgun but has some damage to the barrel that I have been told can be repaired and two areas of the stock are cracked. I know nothing about value of these shotguns or how to grade them. If anyone on here would please give me some information I would greatly appreciate it.While I am not a shotgun guy per se, and while I don't know a lot about these old shotguns I am a gun guy and know quality workmanship when I see it. I bought this shotgun based on the engraving work alone. If one of you could call me I would very much appreciate it I can provide pictures if you would like.
