Check out the reloading manuels for loads wirh Tite Wad, I load 17.5 grains with a winchester wad for 1-1/8 oz #8 . Low pressure and light recoil in my heavier Smiths, a little snappy in the 12 gauge FW Speciality w/ 26" barrels. Close to 400 rounds/ Lb. and almost 25 Lbs of shot. Burns clean and smells great.
