    This is David's SN 42499 which was also unmarked, but the Hunter Arms shipping records state it is a No. 1.

    I don't see how a gun can be shot with corrosive primers to the point that the checkering is worn off, but still have a flawless bore. What is the bore size and wall thickness? The 10" chokes may very well be from honing the proximal 20 inches of barrel.
