I wanted to ask if it is safe to shoot "high brass" modern rounds through a 1937 L.C. Smith? The gun is 98 % cast colors, at least 90 % bluing and wood also. A very nice gun as far as condition from that time. Bores are excellent. I plan to only shoot black powder but I have heard many different views on shooting modern rounds through the really old guns. I am grateful for input on this. Thanks.
