Wenig's Gun Stocks Might Have A Pattern Archived Message

Wenig's Gun Stocks might already have a butt stock pattern that will work for your TRAP GRADE from 1917 if you are right handed and if your gun is a 12 gauge on a R frame, a regular size frame. The pattern that Wenig's has is for a pre 1913 hammerless L C Smith regular size frame and this pattern will create a longer then standard butt stock with a higher then standard cheek comb and cast off for a right handed shooter.

You will need to have Wenig's leave extra wood on the ends of the 4 fingers if your L C Smith has the square ended fingers versus angled ended fingers that meet up with the frame on both sides of the top tang and bottom tang.

The inside shape of the lock plate will need to be left fat or proud for the fitting of your post 1913 lock plates. The plates are a little bit different.
