The number of Long Range shotguns recorded was 2,508 with an additional 98 with the Wild Fowl designation. All were 12 gauge shotguns. The length of the chambers was not recorded in the ledgers. From my observations and the research letter requests I have received, Long Range L.C. Smiths with 2 3/4-inch chambers are uncommon.
