    A good chance you are shooting low due to more stock/comb drop.

    I've corrected this by changing my mount. For example w/my modern guns, I'm really down on it w/ the comb just under my cheekbone. With a couple LC's I have, I hold the comb at the line where my teeth join. A slightly more "heads up" position.

    I've found I actually prefer this position having a such large melon for a head. And, for me it's more natural and less forced. But, it took me a while to get used to it.

    You'll have to play around w/it at the patterning board. Gent has some good suggestions also.
