I recently purchased a 12 gauge L.C. Smith/Hunter Arms "F' grade shotgun cut down some time age to 18.25 inches. The SN is 140262 F so I gather it was made in 1906. It has seen a lot of hard use and the barrels are both heavily pitted. I would be happy to post some pictures, but don't know how. I had hoped to shoot it in Cowboy Action with light black powder loads. Any comments you all care to share will be gratefully received.
