Barrel stamps and serial number IDArchived Message

I plugged the serial number (162334) of my 12g field into the database and it spit out production year of 1937. Curious about the barrel stamps. Barrel is 26 inch Hunter Arms, marked ARMOR STEEL under both barrels. There are two Ds with crowns over them about an inch away from the armor steel stamp. There is also another 2 stamps near the serial number under each barrel that looks like a capital "M" with a "P" stamped over it. Also an "NP" below it. These marks are all duplicative under both barrels. I'll try to load in a pic if this is not enough. Any info on barrel or year of manufacture would be helpful. Thx,
