Please understand that this is my personal opinion here. I have obtained factory letters on several types of guns over the years. Unless the gun is a very high grade or has some unusual features that appear to be factory done it's a waste of money other than to determine original configuration. More that likely you'll be notified that your gun was shipped on such and such a date to a distributor and or hardware store. Jim
