Thanks for the info. Was this a special order option or did they just produce so many guns a year with that option. I am tryiny to determine if in fact this gun came with blued receiver or not. I was considering having it redone but not if it is original. The metal is all still in great condition, the wood is another story. Good condition but finish is gone. I dont like to redo old guns if they are as they came originaly. Right now I am going to put a oil finish on the stock, have the chokes opened up a bit and shoot it.
