What a wonderful legacy Ken. Your grandfather had good taste in his 00 grade LC Smith made in 1910. Please check the 'Shotguns', 'FAQ', and 'Photo Trail' on the Home Page. You can find out how to obtain a research letter from the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
Before shooting the gun, it would be wise to have a good check and clean with a doublegun specialist smith. Let us know where you're from and we might be able to recomend someone near you. Please be aware that the gun likely has 2 9/16" chambers and tight chokes.
