    Paul, that is a tough question to answer without seeing the gun. Are you sure it is the original finish and not redone? If the barrels were 32" and the condition was as described and not redone, than I think that would be a good price. Check behind the sideplates and make sure there are no cracks there. "Elsies" are famous for that. Mostly from people shooting modern high velocity shells through them. See if you can find out what the chokes are. If not ordered differently from the factory they came full/full and there are no markings on the barrels to tell.
    If you are given a three day inspection and are capable of sending some high resolution close-ups of the receiver, stock and receivers water tables and barrels water tables, I'm sure someone could help you with your decision.
