Thomas;Your cases are most likely late 1950s or early 1960s if they are star crimp.The Mark-Five paper shells came out around 1963 to 1965,they had a shot wrapper but still used fiber type wads until the AA made it's appearance around 1967 or 1968.The cork wads that I used back then were made by Sullivan and greatly reduced recoil.If your paper are roll crimp experts the are a bit older.I think I may still have some paper experts that I loaded in the early 60s somewhere around.Nothing smells like a paper shell fired in a smith gun on a crisp October morning while in the field hunting.Good luck,Charlie.
