The first type barrel stop / rotary extractor was used on extractor guns only and was discontinued about 1901 ( SN. 215,872 ). The firing pins with bushings were discontinued during 1905 however, some guns in process were not shipped until later. See "The Legend Lives" Anatomy section pages 375 and 395-396. John H.
