Confusion about chokes Archived Message Posted by David W on March 2, 2008, 6:57 am, in reply to "Re: Smith Skeet chokes" I'm a little confused as by what all manufactures say that their guns are choked Skeet 1 and Skeet 2, WS1,WS2, and so on and when measured come up to be .005 in one barrel and .010-.015 in the other barrel. Wouldn't that be imp.cyl/mod? I thought Smith chokes were parallel for 1 inch and then a taper from start of choke to bore for another 1 9/16. Did the skeet chokes differ in length?
