    Restoring my LC Archived Message

I posted some pics (2-26-08) of a 10ga Grade 2 S/S I recently purchased. After really looking at it I have figured that it can never/should never be fired due to pitting in the barrels. Other issues are missing firing pins (the guy that sold it to me said he put them behind the butt plate so no one would get hurt but they are not there), the safety does not move, the forearm needs some work, and possibly some overall exterior metal work. I thought I would make a project out of this gun but have thought it better to have someone experienced do it. I keep it oiled but am looking for a local (arkansas) person to take care of this (if it should be done at all - what do you experienced LC Smith guys think). I would appreciate any help in this matter.
