Have been looking for classic American double for awhile, won a LC Smith on Gunbroker for a resonable price.Decent looking Field grade featherweight 12 guage made in 1929,30" barrels, uncut stock, pretty much all original.
Took it out to the trap range Sunday and shot 2 rounds, scored 19 in both rounds, really like the way it handles, sot the light Fedaral loads that Midway sells.
Don't think this will be my last Elsie,Baltimore antique gun show coming up and will look to see if I can find another.
I need to get some work done on this one,1 very small dent in the left barrel and I need the stock glass bedded, has a very fine hairline behind each lock plate, seems every 12 guge featherweight I have seen has these.Any recommendations for a good doublegun smith in the Maryland area?
    Here are a couple pics.
