Hello, an associate of mine recently inherited a LC Smith external hammer 12ga. I personally have not seen the shotgun, but he informs me that it is not damascus bbl, fairly trim fore-end and in excellent shape other than the right hand hammer was broken at some time, and a braze repair was done. he states that it was fairly well done, but would sure like to replace the hammer (or both if necessary) to upgrade closer to original condition. i have checked numrich who cataloged a part at one time, but apparently no longer stocks. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
