The Fox-Kautzky Single Selective trigger normally came with an automatic safety. I have two Ithaca skeet guns from the middle 1930s with their non-selective single trigger. The 12-gauge has a manual safety while the 20-gauge has an automatic safety.
From my youth I always heard that the Hunter one trigger was a nightmare! I have an older second cousin who had his Crown Grade Smith converted from a Hunter one trigger to double triggers in the late 1950s.
