    Pigeon Grade Archived Message

    Hi,
I recently acquired a Pigeon Grade from a friend. It was his Grandfather's and has been in the closet for decades. My gunsmith says that it is in great condition. It was made in 1909. It locks up tight and shoots well. It has two sets of barrels, one 28'(IC X M), one 30' (FXF), each set has its own forearm with ebony insert. The ribs have gold inlay and I think real ivory beads. The side plates are each engraved with flying pigeons. It has a single trigger. The stock cleaned up well with some nice figure. I had the case color touched up and the old recoil replaced.
Anyone have any thought about the value of the set?
    Thanks, Trey in PA.
