My knowledge of Fultons is limited but after checking Brophy's book I can tell you that the Hunter special had the L.C. Smith rotary locking bolt. Neither the Fulton nor Fulton special had the same bolting mechanism as the Smith gun. The Fultons have a different barrel lug design and bolt design.
