    End of Season Hunt? Archived Message

    Tomarrow, Saturday is the end of our pheasant, smallgame season in the section I hunt. So my friend and I went out and took our dogs. He is the breeder and he took the sister and brother to mine. Had a nice hunt. Dogs found 5 birds of which we got three. One was in heavy cover and took off wild and I couldn't get a good clear shot at it.
    Gun used 16 ga. c.1919 Field Grade with 26" barrels, cyl./imp.cyl. Hunter One-Trigger with ejectors.
    used with 2 9/16" reloaded Federal and Winchester shells 1 oz. #6, 7,600 psi.
    The "ham" Max had to get into the picture.

    So unless I decide to hunt any preserves this is it for hunting, will still be working him on some quail I have.
