Murrdawg--What a great hand down I'm sure you cherish this and would never sell it. As far as insurance value it has been said many times on this forum the gun is worth what a willing buyer and selller agree on. You can refer to blue book of gun values for an idea. That said, 20 ga. ejector is very desireable, but field grade is the lowest grade. You are looking at the gun and can best determine condition, amount of case color is very important--my guess would be $1200-$1500, no where close to $10,000, but if you find someone willing to pay $10,000,then that is what it was worth.
