Thanks for the response. Here are my questions. I asked earlier if it is common for 3/4" breech balls on a 1907 Fulton? The C 4/7 W&R stamped on the underside of the barrel what might the C be? I'm just guessing 4th month of 07? W&R ? In the Grades of L C Smith I only found reference to the hammer guns and grade F under post 1884 Syracuse did this carry over to Fulton production. My stepson went to gunsmith school in Pittsburgh Pa. then was hired by Shiloh Sharps in Montana, with the passing of his grandfather and health concerns with other relatives he moved back to PA. for a few years. He's willing to help me, he's fascinated with this firearm and its history as simple as it may be. The right hammer has some play when in the uncocked position and the lever to open the barrel is not centered it's slightly right when closed. Everything else is very tight on this shotgun. Should we attempt disassembly to look inside or leave it alone? This shotgun is a 12 gauge 2 3/4 chamber 30" barrels. First trigger right barrel, modified second triger left barrel full choke. Thanks so much Todd
