I have been given my great-grandfather's LC Smith 16 gauge field grade. Mfg by Hunter Arms, Ilion, NY. This may have been a mistake, but I took it hunting last week. It was great to carry and shoot such a great gun. Unfortunately, at some point during the day, I noticed that the button to release the forearm was gone. You know I was (and still am) sick about it. I retraced my steps for the whole day, but it was a needle in a haystack, so to speak. Can anyone please help me identify and find the part to replace or recommend a trustworthy gunsmith in or near Roanoke, VA? Would Numrich have it? Many thanks in advance.
