Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all. I just received as a Christmas gift my grandpa's LC Smith Field Grade 12 gauge side by side shotgun (30" barrel). The gun is in pretty good condition for its age and has the serial number 351041.
A couple of questions; can anyone tell me when about when this gun was manufactured and what it's aproximate value is?
Also, is there someone in the Atlanta, GA area that could look this gun over to make sure it is OK to hunt with. My Dad said that both barrels were full choke so it sounds like it might be a good turkey / deer hunting weapon.
