If I knew how I would enclose some pictures of my LCS Field Grade, 20ga, Ser 202XXX, with single trigger and ejectors. I just purchased Brophy's book and enjoy reading more about my double and it's relatives. My gun has a checkered butt instead of a buttplate. Saw a picture in the book that matched what I have. Why checkered? Also, my single trigger is much more curved than those pictured. Cannot find anything like it in the book. I've owned the gun for 25 years and my former neighbor said he bought it in the mid fifties. Can't think of why the trigger would be a different type? Can anyone offer an explanation?
