My mom is emptying her house and brought over a L.C. Smith receiver. It is hammerless, double barrell, double trigger. The stock is checkered with a slight pistol grip.The side plate is marked L.C.Smith on both side plates just forward of the screw. The serial number is: Fw 12163 FIELD
There is what looks like a recoil pad on the stock by JOSTAM MFG CO. My mom's family is from New York and I have received several old shotguns along with their stories. This is the only one that is incomplete and a mystery. The receiver is in good shape and I would like to complete the gun if not too expensive. Where can I find the barrels? I am not interested in selling what I have, but any help in completing this gun would be appreciated.
