I recently inherited a 1934 field grade .410. This gun belonged to my grandfather and then to my father, and now is mine. (No need to send condolences, grandfather passed on about 20 years ago, and dad's alive and well. I only just took ownership of the gun.)

I've done some skeet shooting already, and really like this gun. I've cleaned up the old gunked up oil using some Hoppes #9 solvent and given the gun a light coat of Browning gun oil on the metal parts. Is there something better that I can use to keep this gun in good condition?

I used a product called Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil on the wood, which improved the look of the wood, but left it feeling slightly tacky. What's a better product to use on the wooden parts of this gun?
