Hello Jim, and welcome to the forum. Your pictures are there, just right click on the icon and open for viewing. The Armor Steel stamping looks legit, given that it was probably diminished some during the carding of the rust bluing process. As far as the case coloring is concerned, It also looks legit to my less than expert eye. It is much more brilliant in the no traffic areas like under the opening lever, and more subtle in the heavy wear areas like on the sidelocks. Your gun is relatively young compared to many I've seen,& I doubt that she's been re-cased. If she had been, the coloring on the sideplates would likely be brighter still. Looks like she's just been well taken care of. As far as your questions on production run quantities are concerned, I've lent my copy of John Houchins new book, LC Smith, The Legend Lives to a friend who is thinking about starting a collection. I'm relatively sure the info you seek is within. If one of our other members doesn't weigh in with an answer, I'll pm you when I get my copy back. Glad to have you with us, and hope you join the LCSCA.
    Take care,
    John
