A great many folks care about provenance on guns. A couple years ago I handled a little Parker O-Frame 16 gauge that wasn't in the greatest of shape. Maybe a $1200 gun on a good day. But my guess is it would bring a whole lot more than that at auction. Seeing as how it lettered to Annie Oakley and still had her little bitty 13 inch length of pull. So yeah, folks care about who a gun belonged to my friend. Destry
