I've got a 1905 Elsie stamped 00 (field grade) serial no.303715 w/two sets of barrels and forearms. The same serial no.is stamped under both barrels,forearms,and also,on the reciever. I would like to place the forearm on the barrel which is not on the receiver. However,It only wants to mate to the barrel when the barrel is on the receiver. Hope all this rambleing makes since to someone! Thank you for your help.
